Cenex gas station across the street has excellent hand dipped ice cream for a super price, prepared foods, groceries, pizza, drinks, ice, bait, tackle, firewood, propane fills, etc. They close at 9 PM.
Earl's Bar (bar menu) and Back Forty Bar & Grill (larger menu) are "downtown" Leeds if you are hungry or thirsty.
We have a summer pool open every day 1-5 pm and Wed and Sun also 7-9 pm.
There is a post office in town.
Devils' lake and Lake Alice are the preferred fishing areas for walleye, northern pike, perch and white bass. Devil's Lake is referred to as a "fish factory" and is listed online as the 2nd best ice fishing location in the world, 3! in the country.
Our Prairie Pothole Region is renowned for excellent waterfowl hunting. Birdwatching here is top notch for several species of ducks, geese, pelicans, red winged blackbirds, and many other small birds. The Lodge is booked by the week only for waterfowl season.
PROPERTY RULES
Cleaning/disposing of fish/birds/game is prohibited onsite or in the lodge building/bathrooms and must be done in the field or at several of the established cleaning houses around the lake. It attracts too many flies and is very unpleasant for everyone.
Deep frying is prohibited inside and within 10 ft of the lodge for fire safety reasons. Please bring your own propane for frying.
Shoes and gear must be kept out of lobby area so all campers can access it safely.
Dogs must be leashed/under voice control at all times outdoors. Do not leave dogs unattended in the lodge. There is a kennel available. Please prevent nuisance barking and clean up after your pet.
Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am for the campground.
Showers are $5 per person for unregistered customers. There is no charge for anyone that uses the shower that is staying at Jan’s RV Park & Lodge.
Electric car charging is prohibited as we are not equipped to do so. Charging stations can be found in Minot and Grand Forks, ND.
